Pigeon diagnostics

Microbiological testing:

•     Smear of goiter/cloaca/eye for bacteria and fungi
•     Fecal examination for parasites
•     Fecal culture for bacteria and fungi
    (i.a. Salmonella spp.)
•     Post-mortem examination
•     examination of feed

From the pathogens detected, an antibiogram/mycogram is performed.

and genetic:

•     sex
•     relatedness
•     speed genes (LDHA, DRD4)
•     Adenovirus,
•     Herpesvirus,
•     Circovirus,
•     Chlamydia,
•     Mycoplasma,
